2010-2011
OP Eagles Tryout Process
IMPORTANT!
Players/Parents,
Tryouts for the OP Eagles 2010/2011 season are just around the corner. This letter contains some very important information regarding our tryout process, as well as our new notification process, so be sure to read it carefully.
WHEN:
Our tryout dates/times/locations are currently posted on the OP Eagles website at www.opsoccer.com.
REGISTRATION:
Our club offers on-line registration for tryouts. This is the easiest and fastest way to get your son/daughters paperwork completed prior to arriving for tryouts. Simply go to our website and follow the easy pre-registration process. Once you’ve completed the on-line registration, all you have to do is show up at tryouts and drop your child off. We request that everyone register online prior to showing up for tryouts.
WHERE:
We will hold tryouts in both Dublin (Darree Park) and Upper Arlington (Thompson Park). Please see the tryout information page as noted above for the dates and age groups that will take place at each park.
TRYOUT PROCESS:
Each age group will hold 2-3 nights of tryouts during their designated tryout dates. Once you arrive at tryouts, your son/daughter will be assigned a “tryout number”. The “tryout number” will remain the same throughout the tryout process. During tryouts, our staff will evaluate your child, and place them on the team we feel will best suite their growth and development. It is recommended that your son/daughter attend as many of their tryout sessions as possible, as this allows our staff to better evaluate their abilities and place them correctly.
NOTIFICATION PROCESS: (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
The notification process will be done on-line this year. You will go to www.opsoccer.com and click on the appropriate “tryout results link” to see where your child has been placed. You will need to know your child’s tryout number to check their placement. There will be very specific instructions for you to follow at that point. Once you’ve followed the instructions and accepted your spot with OP Eagles for the 2010-2011 season, you will be contacted by our staff with how to proceed.
**NOTE** - It is HIGHLY recommended that your son/daughter attend tryouts in their respective community. Our staff in both communities is in constant communication, so please don’t feel the need to attend tryouts at both locations.
